Helena, I can't believe that we both chose the same book. I love this book dearly as well as used to read it to my son when he was little. He is not 24 and gave me a new copy this past year for Christmas. He as well remembers this book fondly as well as the message it delivered each time we read it. I think as a teacher this is a great book for reading students as it always gets their attention as they are able to personally relate to the story. It opens up great conversation for social skills and talking about their families.
